"We're Fucking Dying Up Here!"

"Albert Ramirez' Swift Birds Come Home to Roost"
The head of the CU Ethnic Studies Department, Albert "Chicken Little" Ramirez, has written a panicky letter to the University of Colorado complaining that the administration is not plucking his Ethnic Studies chestnuts out of the Ward Churchill conflagration.
Professor Chicken Little is trying to terrorize all the other professors into believing that if the CU Ethnic Studies Department goes up in flames because of Ward Churchill's academic dishonesty that other academic departments are at risk of being torched for their free speech. Some people in the Republic of Boulder are running around in circles squawking, “Call 911! The sky is falling!”
Professor Chicken Little warns the CU Administration:
"It is critical that the University affirm its support of the Department of Ethnic Studies. The University can no longer continue to remain silent in this regard, unless it wants to send a message to other academic departments on campus that, when they are at risk and under attack by a vocal segment of the bureaucratic and political establishment, they too, are on their own." (Translation: The sky is falling! A piece of it fell on my head!)
As usual, a CU "Indian advocate" is putting words in people's mouths even when they don't say anything.
On the other hand, CU Philosophy professor Dr. Robert Pasnau says that Professor Chicken Little's claim that the sky is falling and that other professors are in danger of being purged for fraud or misconduct if Churchill is fired is just a scarecrow:
"I have never encountered a single instance of fraud or misconduct, or even the bare allegation of such. Additionally, in all of the graduate seminars I have conducted, and dissertations I have read, I have never seen anything even remotely resembling this sort of conduct. Furthermore, over many years of evaluating thousands of job applicants, reviewing their qualifications with the greatest care, I have never seen or heard of even the shadow of this sort of behavior. Finally, in all my years of scholarly research, over the countless articles and books that I have read, I have never encountered anything of this kind."
Strange that Professor Ramirez isn't calling on the Indians to put out the fire. After all, the Mohawk ironmongers working on the WTC helped in the rescue of the 9-11 victims.
But then, what did CU Ethnic studies ever do for Indians? When did CU Ethnic Studies ever listen to Indians? When did they ever serve as advocates for Indians? Not when they hired the AIM activist Ward Churchill, who, under the cover of "Kennis," (Wardo's "Indian" name) agitated against the FBI for 30 years.
In order to smear the FBI, AIM and Ward Churchill ignored Indian voices, spread hate-mongering and mendacious lies about the supposed FBI-backed death-squad murders of hundreds of Indian people that even the dead people's relatives knew were untrue.
Here is what the Sioux Falls Argus Leader reported in 2000:
"Joseph Swift Bird lost his brother in January 1975. AIM says Leon Swift Bird was killed by members of the Guardians of the Oglala Nation, an armed force working under tribal auspices. Joseph, now 79, heard the rumors but always knew the truth. No one bothered to ask, he said. Leon was stabbed by his girlfriend. "They were both drinking, argued a bit, and she put the knife to him," he said, adding he hopes the report will stop the rumors about his family."
Here is a quote from an article in an Indian publication about how AIM squelched Indian voices and how the FBI tried to give Indians a voice:
For many years the American Indian Movement and the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee made a list of 64 names public with explanations that no investigation was conducted or that investigations into the deaths were insufficient.
On July 10, the FBI fought back and issued a 30-page booklet that briefly explains cases in question. It does address the eight deaths that occurred along Rapid Creek in Rapid City within the last several years.
"The publication is part of our attempt to correct the many, many myths circulating on the Internet and on the reservations," said Chip Burrus, assistant special agent in charge of the FBI's Minneapolis division.
"For many years, rumors of unresolved murders of Native Americans have come to our attention," wrote Douglas J. Domin, special agent in charge of the Minneapolis Division in the forward of the booklet. "At times, these allegations represented that there were hundreds of murdered Native Americans that had not been investigated by the FBI. The names of murder victims were not attached to the rumors and addressing the allegations could not be accomplished," Domin stated.
Burrus intended to release the booklet to tribal elders at Pine Ridge, but when he started in Kyle he began handing them out in parking lots as well. He dropped the report at 18 different locations on the reservation.
[Burrus] said the FBI could not do its job if tribal members do not trust the work done by the FBI. "I hope the document will stop the idea that the FBI lets murders go uninvestigated," Burrus said. "I was really surprised. Our reception was favorable. Some people we gave the book to said we should take it down to the Red Cloud Building. We did not get a negative response there and they said they would pass it along to the elders."
This FBI official, Chip Burrus, is now an Acting FBI Assistant Director. He spoke recently about catching pedophiles on FOX NEWS.
I think Ward Churchill and AIM just made up big communist lies about these Indian deaths to smear the FBI. To smear the FBI, he had to shut-up Indian voices. As noted in an earlier post, I think he plagiarized his big lie about the "reign of terror" on Pine Ridge from the FBI file on the Osage Indian Murders.
The Osage Indian murders were also called a "reign of terror." I think that Churchill even copied that term from the Osage history. However, to solve the Osage murders, the FBI and the Indians worked together to catch the criminals who were killing Indians and some white people, too.
Ward Churchill just couldn't stand for anyone to know that the FBI got justice for the Osage, so he made up his Legend of Pine Ridge to cover-up the Osage-FBI record of cooperation.
He cannibalized Osage-FBI history and snuffed out the true history of the events at Pine Ridge with his fabrications.
Churchill had to bury Osage history in order to defame the FBI. Now his BIG LIES are going up in flames and Professor Ramirez is trying to stampede the other professors into thinking that if his Ethnic Studies Department and his career go up in flames that all the professors will get burned.
So who are the little Eichmanns now?
Who fed the flames of hatred?
Who stoked the fires of the 30-year witch-hunt against the truth?
Ward Churchill, that's who!
So it's not "Home Sweet Home."
Adjust! This is Snapple's opinion!
